Midyear Review

Wow, it’s already the halfway point of 2015!  I cannot believe it.  As I always say, time is flying.

I’ve done 16 races—2 marathons, 6 half marathons, 2 10ks, 1 8k, 1 four miler, and 4 5ks.  That’s 4 more races than 2014 and the year is not even over yet.  I wish I could say that the second half of my year will be as jam packed with races, but sadly it is not going to be L.  So far, I’ve added 7 new states (Florida, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and Kansas) and I’ve really enjoyed all of those races!

I’ve logged over 600 miles and gone thru 2 pairs of shoes.

What is the plan for the rest of the year?

–Spend the summer training for the Chicago Marathon!  I have my schedule and I’m sticking to it.  I’m at 13 miles right now… so I’ll be working up to 20 by August!

–Add 3 new states—California, Iowa and Oklahoma!

I cannot wait to embark on the rest of 2015!
